Private equity is an alternative way to participate in the real estate market. You own a share of the value of the building, including the 60-70% that debt paid (for which you have no liability). As an owner, you share in the annual profits and tax depreciation the building generates without any landlord headaches.

We leverage equity capital with loans from banks or institutions to make up the purchase price. As an owner. you share in the properties profits and depreciation based on the entire value of the building including the debt – with none of a landlord’s headaches.

Who We Are?

Aequitas Capital is a real estate investment company founded to provide affordable, multifamily housing for middle-class, working, singles and families.  The Aequitas team has over 70 years of experience in buying, selling owning, brokering, and financing real estate.

Our tenants are the middle-class working families who make the products you use, fix your cars, teach your children, respond when you dial 911 and take care of your sick relatives. These folks make too much for government-subsidized housing, are too young for senior housing, and can’t afford market-rate housing. We provide a decent place to live in a good neighborhood at a rent that leaves enough funds to cover living expenses.

We are committed to excellence and integrity in everything, from the materials and methods we use to upgrade the properties, to treating our associates and tenants with dignity, to the honest and transparent way we use our investors’ funds and communicate with them about their investment.
